I've been using ArchiWare Pure free license for around a year in my home lab and also use LetsEncrypt with a wildcard certificate.  Is it possible to replace the pre-built SSL certificates with my Wildcard LetsEncrypt certificate?

Thanks!

Doug

The self signed certificate is located here: <pure folder>/servers/vmsn/modules/nsssl/server.pem

To override the default certificate, simply supply your own PEM file ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privacy-Enhanced_Mail ) containing BOTH the certificate and the private key. The file itself is a plain text file containing two sections:

-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
(encoded certificate)
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
(encoded private key)
-----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----

If the content of the '<pure folder>/servers/vmsn/modules/nsssl/server.pem' file is invalid, the server WILL NOT START. In this case please consult 'log/vmsn.log' file for more details. In most cases there will be some invalid character or invalid format in the file.

Please note: The above method will possibly not persist across Pure updates so please save a copy of the pem file elsewhere and manually restore if after the next update. Starting from the version 2.0.9 onward, Pure updates will correctly handle the custom certificates with one important difference: after version 2.0.9, custom PEM file should be placed in the "<pure folder>/config/server.pem" instead of overwriting the default self signed certificate.
